It is time for the Style me Thursday challenge and today I am looking at Country Lolita. I thought this would be perfect for Easter and Spring.
So you need to get a job but what are you going to wear for interview? Should I wear my hair in a teased back comb mess? Should I wear alternative clothes or buy a disgusting suit from Primark? These are questions that I was recently faced with whilst I was job hunting. I am sure these are also questions that you too have faced.
It is a hard choice you don’t want to hide your personality, but you cant sit around brooding in your amazing clothes forever either. Unless you get an ‘alternative’ job or one that is open to different styles, then your going to have to bite the bullet and style yourself down.
What did I decide to do?
I do believe that you should dress smarter and more ‘normal’ when going for an interview. But wait! Don’t grab that hideous suit just yet. I think you should just tone down your style, so there is still a bit of your personality shining through.
Blouse: £10 Dorthy Perkins
Skirt: £7 Cult
Black Patient Shoes: £10 Primark
I already owned these clothes. I didn’t have to go and buy any ugly items I would never wear again. When these items are paired together they look very smart as well as showing some of my own style with the frilly collar and bow. So it is worth looking through the wardrobe you might have a blouse, skirt or trousers that would work well.
My hair was the hardest part. I love having my big backcombed hair, but first impression are important and it does look a bit of a mess. Instead I had my hair down with a bit of volume in and a cute bow to the side.
And…..I got the job! I should soon be starting my new job as a museum assistant. Working in a museum is something I have always been interested in and love all the behind the scene collections. We also have a large collection of bones/fossils and a few taxidermy items…..AWESOME!

It is time for the Thursday’s style me challenge. Where I look at an alternative style and try to recreate it. This week I am looking at the fun fashion that is Steampunk.
If you saw my last post I got a mini haul and most of the clothing was from H & M in this post I will be posting outfits using my new jumpers.
In this blog post I will be reviewing Lindy Bops ‘Adalene Green Alpine’ skirt, which I managed to snap up at the sale for just £13. I will also be adding an outfit idea at the end.
Late post!! I have been ill with the dreaded cold. So haven’t really felt up to blogging. I hope you are all having a nice new years so far and are not stuck with the January blues. So here we go better late that never is my Outfit I wore for my New Years Party.
Well its a few days late but Merry Christmas everyone! I do hope you had a good one! As I am sure most people do on Christmas, we make an effort to wear a nice christmassy outfit, being sure to include the new clothes that we have just received as presents.
So here is my Christmas Outfit
So its that festive time of year again! Time to celebrate, have fun with family and friends and drink in excess!
I thought I would share what I wore to the Christmas party I had with my friends.
Hillside is a sanctuary that helps mainly farm animals that have been mistreated and need a forever home. It’s a great charity and I try and visit quite often and support them by sponsoring two goats called misty and frosty.
Every year Hillside put on a Christmas fayre, which is great fun and gets you right into the Christmas spirit early. They even have a real life nativity scene where the goats regularly eat Joseph’s knitted beard!
The day was absolutely freezing so I wrapped up super warm double socks, leggings, jumpers and thick coats. I then proceeded to fall over on my way home ruining my leggings and bruising my knees! :,(
Anyways onto the clothing:
